BABY FRENCH TERRY
Baby french terry is a variation of french terry. It has the looped back like all french terry, but the loops are “baby” or smaller. The baby loops makes it thinner than standard french terry and therefore not as warm. It’s perfect for a lightweight, transitional piece in the spring or fall, or even as layering piece in cooler months. Baby french terry can also be used as loungewear in the summer without it being too warm. It has a little better drape than the standard french terry since it’s a lighter weight. My favorite pieces to sew up with baby french terry are sweatshirts, joggers, lounge bottoms, and light weight jackets.
